A lost program

I'm trying to find a little program that i had and lost due to a reformat, but i don't know the name of it. so i was wondering if i explain it someone may know of it.

It's a windows based program for editing and writing a linux boot.img to a diskette , used by someone wanting to make a bootable live linux cd. It's a freeware program, someone recommended it, as it was good for editing rather than using windows based program.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

When you say windows...do you mean MS Windows(tm)?
And I assume by live linux cd you mean a knoppix like distro??

Just curious

OK, I wasn't sure...My first thought was "rawrite" or "rawrite32" but I'm sure that is not it. It will make boot.img disk's but I never used any Knoppix type distros, so I doubt that is what you are referring to.

Anybody have a lead for this person??
