a guitar prog?

i am seeking a way to tell a dev, that i have junk spare keyboards, and would like to be able to switch between things with the junk keyboard, and use the keyboard as a "stomp box switch" i mean like i could step on esc no problem, f1 f2 f3 f4, as a group no problem. f5 f6 f7 f8 as a group no problem f9 f10f11 f12 as a group and the print screen scroll lock pause break as a group. im saying to trash a keyboard, and use it like this.

i would love this kind of a setup for a guitar fx program like ExEf.

Hmm, well it would be easiest if the application received one keycode when you stomp on the keyboard.
You could always remove the key buttons that you do not need ...
ie. keyboard layout
ESC F4 F8 F12 Break

yup, i have removable key caps. i could even remove the tactile housings to completely eliminate the chance of touching the keys next doors. im just not very powerful at writing code stuff =(
