Gimp has almost all the same features as photoshop. I used PS for years all the way up to PS7, and find I can do mostly the same thing in Gimp. Its not QUITE photoshop, but its close enough for free. You just have to learn how to use it. You didn't learn photoshop in a day, did you?
Most things are done by right clicking in the image window. |

Gimp does a lot for the money (g), and it even has most of the tools that Photoshop users are used to. I just wish the Gimp interface would make more sense. The Photoshop UI is nearly perfect. A beginner could figure out the basics without reading the manual.
