A couple of questions about Kopete

I have always used GAIM for all my IM needs. But recently I began using KDE and would like to try Kopete instead. But there are a couple of features I either can't find, or arent there. Searching on google made it seem like the answers were self evident, but I couldn't find them.

1. Is it possible to log all my conversations, and if so, how?

I worked out how to log when messages were sent/received etc. But not the messages them selves.

2. Can I set it to automatically reconnect, or at least notify me when one of the protocols disconnects?

Sorry for asking such stupid questions, I'm sure I must be missing something simple.

Not much help. but i can tell you by using kopete 0.9.0 on kde-3.3 i am able to view all conversation histories by right clicking on the conatct and going to "history"

Don;t rememeber if this was set as a parameter, but i can;t find it if it was.

Well you're wrong about one thing: It was a lot of help.

I found it, its rather obvious too. The "history" plugin, although I had it selected, it didn't seem to work until I ticked the box to "show chat history in new chats." From then on all messages were logged, and I had the menu item you mentioned.

Thanks again.

Anyone have an answer to the problem of the disconnections?
