a better php/apache error_log

right now errors are put into apache's error_log file

but the php errors don't haveany timestamps on them

also sometimes it will say "script not found or unable to stat", which basically means it can't find the php script that was asked for. is there any way to get it to log which file was asked for?

also i was wondering if anyone knows how to make apache tell you what line in the HTML it was at when it generates a "cannot find file" for an <img src

thanks

It is possible that the missing timestamp is a compatibility issue between my oldish version of php4 and Apache 2.0.

Unfortunately, upgrading is off the table at this point in time.
