91x.com streaming and Mplayer?

I love listening to loveline on the 91x radio station and i found out that they stream their radio broadcasts. The site says for linux users u need Mplayer and the mozilla plugin. I was doing some searching for fedora core installation tutorials on Mplayer but couldn't find any. Does anyone know of any sites that have them?

Also, I thought Mplayer played Dvds and movie files... why would i need it to listen to a stream? Thanks in advanced.

Indeed, you can play audio and video streaming with mplayer.

I also use RedHat and it works OK.

mplayer your_link

Check for error messages. A codec might be missing...

Hope this helps
