1) Why, when I as root add /dev/pilot and link it to /dev/ttyS1 does it disappear from /dev on the next reboot? Right now, I have Kpilot setup as /dev/ttyS1. The help seems to suggest that /dev/pilot is preferred.

2) When I sync my Visor Edge, Korganizer is off by 5 hrs. I think this is a UTC thing as I'm on Eastern US time. I dual boot windows XP too and want to avoid the time changing between different OS sessions. What's the correct way to set this up? I have both Korganizer and KDE setup as Eastern.

3) So far Kpilot shows notes but not in Kontact...am I missing a setting?

4) In 3.2.3 what happened to Knode being embedded in Kontact? It seems to be separate now.

Update on #2:

I use local time as I think this is necessary to dual boot and keep track of time between linux and XP. To get Korganizer times to be correct, I went to KDE settings Date & Time and chose No Selection for the timezone information. I also did this in Korganizer and it seems to work.

This one is humbling. How 'bout Settings > Configure Kontact and ensure that News is selected!

Oh, well, still two to go!

Update on #2:

When I upgraded to KDE 3.3.1...I reset my timezone settings in KDE and KOrganizer and time appears to be ok.
