4 independent sound channels player

Hi all,

I am looking for sound application for linux which allows play 4 independent wav files (various length) on one 4 or 5+1 channel sound card (e.g sb audigy).

Maybe I am completly wrong and it is not possible and I will need 4 sound cards.

Thanks for any help.
