Exclamation 3rd party tool for log rotation


hi, i want to auto archive my log files on my linux distro
and after the archival is made
the log files should be auto deleted

i know this can done thru logrotate.conf file in /etc/
but i just need some 3rd party tool to achieve this task

are their 3rd party tools available for this thing ?

why do you need a third party tool? logrotate IS "third party", it just happens to be included on most distros.

Maybe explain what's wrong with stock logrotate then?
