3D cube desktop on 17.2 mint

My OS is Mint 17.2 cinnamon 32-bit

I've seen that the desktops and workspaces can be changed into a 3D cube shape.

Can anyone please guide me how to do it.

I recall that the KDE virtual desktop switcher has a 3d cube as one of the effects. You will need to install kde-full & launch into kde. Also, have a look at this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dbOK6jRovVI

You don't need kde-full, just kwin (and it's dependencies).
