Unhappy 3d and contour plot


hello
i am using Fedora Core 6. please suggest me any software to plot 3d
graphs and contour diagrams except gnuplot?

installing visit

Can you please suggest me how to install visit? does it take data files as input to plot graphs?
please help me out.

If you look at the downloads page on the VisIT website, there are build notes. You may need to write a plugin so that VisIT can read your data file, so I suggest you read the documentation.

I also like R, but it's for more than just making plots.
