hello my friends
my OS are RHEL4, and Ive3 questions for you
1-how to make "prelink" process stopped completely ? bcoz its many time run then take about 90-100% from my CPU.
2-how to make my default Desktop Environment are KDEin RHEL4?
3-some time when I run audio file and, try to run another one (almost using kaffeine) I get a message that say: device are busy!
how to reset the device ?
1. kill PID usually does the trick, but prelinker is supposed to help speed up running ELF binaries, so I'm not sure if you really want it to go. It isn't in (my) Services list of things I can choose to let run or not, suggesting to me that its important.
2. When you log in, choose KDE from the Sessions menu. IIRC it will ask if you want that to be your default. Or use switchdesk kde from the terminal.
3. That error usually means something hasn't let go of the speakers, so to say. Are you opening the new audio file through Kaffeine, or by just double clicking/right click>open with?
Hope that helps,
Scott McNeely
PS, you might get more views if you can come up with slightly more descriptive titles for your posts...
