2 questions regarding fluxbox

I just installed fluxbox to compare it to blackbox. Not really much of a difference but there's a couple things I can't figure out:

1. The clock on the toolbar (or whatever it's called) is set to 24 hour time (military time in the states). What are the commands to change it to 12 hour am/pm time? In my init file there is this command:

session.screen0.strftimeFormat: %k:%M

Does this set the format for the clock? If so, how do I change this to change the time format?

2. Under root, the styles set a background. Under user, I can load styles for the menus and titlebars, but still no background. I have this line in my init file:

session.screen0.rootCommand: bsetbg -f ~/.fluxbox/Backgrounds/matrix2.jpg

But the terminal tells me that bsetbg command doesn't exist. What permissions do I need to change or what command is there to direct fluxbox to load a background?

Thanks for the help.

background

Hi,

You have to overrule the background set by the style you are running.
You can do it by editing the style file ~/.fluxbox/styles/
and edit/add
session.screen0.rootCommand: bsetbg -f ~/.fluxbox/backgrounds/zimdib_dark.png
bsetbg should be installed.

The clock I don't know how to change.

Yeah but what the faw says doesn't work. That's why i posted the questions here. Doesn't matter though, I switched back to blackbox anyways.
