i'm running redhat9 under 2.6.3, but updating to the new kernel seems to have broken up2date (along w/ a bunch of other stuff). ran in terminal, it returns the following:
rpmdb: unable to join the environment
error: db4 error(11) from dbenv->open: Resource temporarily unavailable
error: cannot open Packages index using db3 - Resource temporarily unavailable (11)
error: cannot open Packages database in /var/lib/rpm

i tried doing a rpm --rebuilddb, but that didn't work.
