2.5MX RAM required for QuickBooks under Crossover

Under Kubuntu 9.04 beta I upgraded my Athlon 64 single-channel (1 GB RAM) to Athlon X2 (dual), model 7750 (along with new mobo and 4GB new RAM). I left the other Athlon system as it was. Now I keep getting tha above message no matter which version of Crossover I use to run QuickBooks 2001, which previously ran fine. I tried installing one recent 64-bit version of cx on the other machine and got a variety of messages. I can't post a ticket on Codeweavers as I have never paid for support--haven't needed it in the six years I've been using it. Is there anyting about dual-channel processing that requires some changes?
