[SUSE 10.1] Just updated, now web browsers won't launch
I have updated my SUSE 10.1 today but now I can't get my web browsers (Firefox or Opera) to launch - if I try running it from Console, it just says "Killed".
What can I do? I have been able to browse via Konqueror but it is not what I really want to have to keep using.
Unfortunately what I did before was reinstall SUSE 10.1, but I've gone and updated again and don't want to have to bother - it seems to be a few other applications too, not just web browsers (apart from Konqueror) though.
Still getting the same 'killed by SIGSERV' message again though.
Hey, sorry to drag up an old post, but has anyone figured this out? I'm having the same problem with opera. Konqueror doesn't work well with shit loads of tabs, or more than 3.
Here is my output.
pAn1k@700m:~> strace opera
execve("/usr/bin/opera", ["opera"], [/* 76 vars */]) = 0
+++ killed by SIGKILL +++
