[ssmtp] password is passed in blank if it contains '#'
Hi,
I configured my smtp password in the ssmtp.conf file, and I set DEBUG=YES. I can never send an email out, and in the sys log, I noticed that my password is passed in blank. I tried to use -ap on the command line, and my email is send out successfully.
I noticed that if my password contains '#', my password is passed in blank. I tried to modify my password not to contain '#', and my email is send successfully.
Is this a bug in ssmtp, or is there any special syntax to allow my password contain '#'?
In ssmtp.conf I set:
AuthPass=#mypwd#
I also tried '#mypwd#', and "#mypwd#".
