[licq] When I open icq on a 2nd machine I get hundreds of popup messages.

Hi all,

Any licq users out there with advice? I left licq running on my linux box (Fedora core 1) at home, and when I got to work I started up icq on my Win2k box.

The Win2k box reported it was being used by another machine (duh...and oops), so I tried a few more times and then forgot about it.

When I went home for lunch, I went upstairs and found that my linux box had over 600 error message windows on the screen (in ctrl-alt-f7 mode), and was unresponsive and exhibiting weird behavior (white screening, etc).

I just installed licq last night, and like the interface, but its a bit disheartening to think that every time I accidentally leave the house without logging out of the linux box or shutting down licq I'll come home from work to find a few hundred error messages and an unresponsive user interface.

Thoughts or suggestions?

Warren Wright
