[LaTeX] Coloring environments
 

I want to give a theorem box a background color. Using \colorbox for this doesn't work. Does anybody have any suggestions how I can do that?

Look into using pstricks. There should be examples available on the web. I am using psframebox ( aport of pstricks) successfully just for that reason.

By the way.... Is it possible to use \psframebox inside a newenvironment definition somehow? I want to control the theorem environments layout at one location.
