[Counter Strike Server] - dropping players

i recently got a CS server up and running with a few mods (meta mod, admin mod, chicken mod, HL Guard and PLBot). all these things work fine and people are able to play, but they get dropped frequently from the server. The message on the server says "client such and such was dropped from the server Reason: client sent "drop") . When I see this and im not playing i figure the person left because there was no one else on the server, but today i was playing with someone and they said the server was dropping them, it was happening like every 1 to 2 minutes. I didnt get dropped by the server, I'm on the same LAN as the server so I guess that helps but it still doesnt make sense because the guy's ping was still really low and it wasnt on a map change or anything.

Here's the info on the server: Red Hat 7.3 on a DSL connection via a Linksys cable/dsl "router", I did 2 things on the rounter, set it up where port 27015 requests go to 192.168.1.100 and i also set it up as DMZ host just incase. The machine itself is a home-made AMD Athlon 1.1GHz 1GB RAM 40GB 7200 RPM hard drive, its a decent system. People are getting good pings but the server just seems to not want to keep them on, but i play just fine on it (i play on my dad's windows box down the hall connected to the same router). When i connect though, i connect to 192.168.1.100:27015, maybe i'll try connection through the outside IP address and see what happens then.

If anyone has any ideas, i'm open to any suggestions.

I have seen timeouts causing a disconnect. However I have never seen this problem. Of course I would not know if a user had been kicked if it says they sent drop.
