Question [cloning] Alternative to Clonezilla?

Hello

I need to find a simple application, either text-based or GUI-based to clone partitions/disks onto a local disk and/or remote FTP server.

I use Clonezilla, but find its multi-page, ncurses interface painful.

Is there a good open-source alternative?

If not, is there a better, free/cheap alternative that I can stick on a USB keydrive?

Thank you.

g4u

Almost any live cd/usb/floppy can dd or dd over netcat or dd to an ftp server by command line. Other choice like tar, cat, cpio.

All sorts of partition images to be used too.

System Rescue CD comes with PartImage on it. Don't know much else about it though, may be worth looking at.

Thanks guys. I don't know the difference between Clonezilla and PartImage (apparently, CZ is based on PartImage, so I don't know what it adds to it).

I'll check g4u and see how it compares to Clonezilla.

Apparently, that's pretty much it when it comes to open-source cloning software.
