I am slowly making the transition from full KDE install to openbox and CLI, and I need to learn a few more CLI commands before I am totally confident.
My latest problem: I have downloaded the firefox 0.9.3 installer for linux and extracted it on my system. I want to be able to install it from the command line. Yet I do not know the command. All I see in the directory is a couple 'firefox-installer-bin' files. I do not know the command to open/execute them. I easily installed firefox on one of my other PCs which runs the full KDE system. I know it can install by clicking on the aforemetioned *-bin file. I would rather install by CLI, and not use a filemanger/browser at all, so what command do I type? (I already have all the dependencies loaded)

cd /whereeverFireFoxFolderIs
./firefox-installer.bin or whatever the filename is.
./ runs a file in the current directory
../ moves up a directory
