yppasswd can't change


hi friends
today i just made nis authentication in my small office.evrything working fine.users can change yppasswd from server.but they can't change their yppassword from client side.i am getting a message when i tried to change yppassword "yppasswd not working on nis master host".my nisserver showing the yppasswd status as working.

anybody can help me
