XP Clients on CentOS5

I have several XP Pro labs that I want to authenticate from a CentOS5 server via LDAP.

I've installed the samba-ldap on the server.

I now need my XP clients to join the LDAP domain.

I also want to be able to write policies to lock down my XP desktops...

How can I do this?

I'm afraid to say that in my opinion the best way to manage Windows workstations is with Windows servers, particularly when it comes to authentication and group policy. If you really want to authenticate via LDAP you will need to extend the Windows XP login mechanism to support it (i.e. replace MSGINA with something like pGina or a commercial alternative).
