Xnest remote connection to RHEL 4 Server

I'm trying to establish a remote connection to a RHEL 4 server from a RHEL 5 workstation. I'm new to the arena of linux and I'm trying to establish a GUI remote connection to the RHEL 4 server.

I've read a number of instruction from surfing the internet and I still havn't gotten things to work.

Is there a configruation that must be implmented on the server? Where do I locate it?

At this point all the instructions that I've read provide very little in the area of a configuration on the server or on the client machine.

Can any point me in the direction of a documented configuration for starters.

Currently I use the following command that produces just a blank GUI screen: Xnest -query :2

try running
ssh -X
and then try running any GUI application inside such a session. It will show up on your desktop. Is this what you mean when you say 'GUI remote connection'?
