xmbc sshfs takes about 1 minute to navigate directories
 

i use sshfs to mount a network drive and navigate in the xbmc menu.

for some reason it takes about 1 minute to go to a subdirectory but further subdirectories dont take any time to list the contents.

what is with this peculiar delay; i wonder if there is an sshfs setting that must be set ?

what i ended up doing is re-install the os to the usb and all is good in the universe.

maybe after so many reboots the live-usb flakes out after awhile ?

it happened again after awhile; these options sped things up slightly:

-o sshfs_sync
-o no_readahead
