XFCE desktop parameters as template

Hi all,

I'm new to this forum so firstly I would like to thank you for this great forum which helped me a lot lastly !

However I still have a question for which I didn't find the answer yet (but I'm sure it's peace of cake for you guys )

I had to setup an ubuntu machine which will only be used from the network (no screen plugged).
I managed to install and configure vnc for simultaneous multi users but it was a bit slow so I decided to turn to a lighter desktop manager.

I successfully installed XFCE and designed the panel and the desktop icons for one user but it was a long process...
I would now like to know if it's possible to export these settings to other users accounts.

I already tried the brutal method : copying the .config folders from the reference account to the other ones but it didn't work at all.

So if you have a suggestion, I would be happy to try something more clean

thank you very much.

Best regards,

Romain.

Not sure if this is what you want, but this site has something to say about it.
