Question Xen Virtualization Problem

All

I want to install xen on my server but I am very new to Xen. I have read various articles on google but it didnt made me understand too much about xen. Please help me if any of you can give me any link which explains how to install & manage Xen in simple language.

Why not consider an easier solution for VM's then like Virtualbox or vmware's apps?

A reason can be that these apps run on top of a regular OS and could create some performance issues. I certainly wouldn't advise that for server use (unless you are talking about VMWare ESX).

For the best performance and use of resources, I would use xen as well...

Both of you please suggest some easy tutorial for installing & configuring Xen on Debian/Ubuntu OS too.

Here is one: http://wiki.debian.org/Xen.There is even a link to a .deb file.
You might want to use virt-manager. It is a GUI tool to create VPS. I am not sure that it is available on Debian...

You can use OpenSuSE for your first time. Perhaps it could be easy for you. And look for documentation about this from opensuse.org. But before you starting this, please make sure that your processor support for VT (Virtualization feature) with "cat /proc/cpuinfo". Find your processor details from your processor website. Thank's.
