markotitel,
Really glad you're exploring Linux! I'm assuming by "Zen" you mean simplicity and not that there is some application called "Zen"

Puppy Linux is around 100mb and runs entirely in RAM from a flash drive or CD-R http://puppylinux.org/main/index.php...%20Started.htm. The community is incredibly passionate and helpful http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/ . There are also derivatives of Puppy Linux; a few you might look at are, "MacPup Foxy"http://macpup.org/, "Browser Linux" http://www.browserlinux.com/, and "Light House Pup" http://www.lhpup.org/. Most media works out of the box and anything you need the community will gladly tutor you through an install which they have made very easy

Hope you find what you are looking for!

http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/LiveCD

It was GREAT to play with but I couldn't figure out how to actually install it onto our system at work. Still, I would say that this is a good place to start.

I couldn't find any obvious way to install it onto our hard disk drives, but I'm sure there's some trick to install from the terminal, like there is (or at least used to be) in Knoppix by typing knoppix-installer as root.

This is a Debian Live CD with Xen, but it seems to be your answer. If anyone knows how to get it installed from that disk, I certainly would appreciate that as much as I think markotitel would.
