Talking xampp on linux

hi there,

i've just installed the xampp bundle on linux machine.
after i start the web server (apachae) and type "localhost" in the address bar; the server is directed to localhost/xampp folder.

how can i get the localhost point to the localhost "htdocs" folder not the xampp folder under htdocs?

thank you

The index.php file under htdocs folder (xampp bundled) redirects browsers to htdocs/xampp. All you need to do is simply remove or replace that file with any file that satisty you.
