X-Windows via SSH

Forgive me if this is not the correct place to post this question. I Have a very interesting task at hand. Hope someone can direct me to the right path. I want to run an X windows app on a remote server --> jump host --> jump host --> workstation.

In other words I want to be able to see the app GUI on my workstation. My Workstation connects to a jump host 1 (Solaris 9). From the jump host I connect to another one (jump host 2 solaris 8) then to the app server. Any help would be really appreciated.

Don't think this is going to happen how you want. I'd say, if you need to gain access to a workstation to do X11 forwarding to view an app, you just need a good'ol VPN setup. And if the app gui is already running, you need to setup VNC on your workstation. ssh can only handle X11 forwarding, not Desktop environment.

just forward the X auth (in other words, use -X in every ssh connection) !
Code:
[miguel@babylon5 ~]$ ssh -X miguel@servera
Last login: Wed Jul 16 17:56:41 2008 from 192.168.160.137
Have a lot of fun...
miguel@servera:~> ssh -X miguel@192.168.160.250
Password:
Last login: Wed Jul 16 18:01:29 2008 from servera.apicenet.com.br
Have a lot of fun...
miguel@minibit:~> xclock
Warning: Missing charsets in String to FontSet conversion
Warning: Unable to load any usable fontset
(xclock was displayed in my workstation, aka, babylon5)
