win2003 server backup with linux

just wonderinfg if there is a simple solution to backing up a windoes 2003 server with exchange on it, i would like to do the following.

1. i have 2 sites A: & B: and wish to have the data recreated from A: to B: incramentaly over the net ( i have cisco 877 routers with a permenant vpn between the two sites ).

2. i need a backup for fail over purposes if i have a fire or other disaster in the office i will need to be able to restore my back up or get the other site up and running as quickly as possable with a replacment windows machine.

do you have any suggestions please.

Awesome, brilliant perl programming. People on the mailing list always write in saying things like, "I have 600 Gb of backups on a 250 Gb drive". Unlike most open source projects, backuppc is not a team of people, it is pretty much one guy, Craig Barratt. I backup multiple windows servers to my backup servers. You have the option of backing up via samba, ssh+tar (via cygwin for windows), or using rsync or rsyncd. Great, great stuff.
