where is the kipmi0 launched ?? how to terminate kipmi0

Hi.

"ps aux|grep -i ipmi" shows me kipmi0 kernel thread

for some purpose, I need to kill kipmi0

as you know "kipmi" kernel thread is related with "ipmi_si" kerner driver.

but curious things is that the "ipmi_si" module is not exists ( lsmod|grep -i ilmi)

there is no any IPMI related kernel driver in my system.

how is the kipmi kernel thread generated ??

I cannot terminate the kipmi kernel thread because It should be terminated by module cleanup code in "ipmi_si" kernel driver.

any advice ??

thanks.
