Where can I find place store databases


Hi all

Where can I find place store databases on server ???
example :
/etc/mysql
??

I'm not sure I understand what you are looking for but, when you create a database/table in mysql, the files are in /var/lib/mysql directory.

use /opt or /usr/local ....

first of all read this file system hierarchy to know about each of folder purpose ( like /bin,/usr, /sbin,/var,/home etc.. )
