What would you run on this server?

What distro would you run on this hardware and why:

tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3118887&Sku=V133-6124

Dual Xeon Dempsey 5060 3.2Ghz Dual-Core CPU
Full 64-bit Support
Supermicro X7DVL-E Server Motherboard
2GB Dual-Channel, ECC & Fully Buffered DDR2-533 Memory
Upgradeable to 16GB
Four 500GB Western Digital SATA-II Raid Edition Hard Drives
Hotswap Capability
RAID 0,1,5,10 Capable
PMI 2.0 Module
KVM-over-LAN Support
Serial-over-LAN Support
Integrated ATI Rage Video
Dual Gigabit LAN (10/100/1000)
LiteOn 20X Dual-Layer DVDRW Drive w/Lightscribe
Sony Floppy Drive
645 Watt EPS Power Supply

It would be a file server as it's main purpose, with a RAID 5 in a home network with other XP and Linux clients accessing the files and also making backups to the server.

Maybe connect the only USB printer in the house to it to share it as well.

It should be relatively easy to set it up to do what I want or I will lose the patience to do it if it takes me more than 2, 3 days

So if you have any links to the most relevant step by step HowTos to set this up with the distro you propose, please post them, too

GoodGirl - Did you get RAID working on this server? I have this mobo and I'm working on getting RAID5 to be recognized by Ubuntu and it looks like my only option at this point is a custom kernel.

So I'm curious what you have found out.

TIA
