what solutions can i use for linux vpn hosting ?
hi,
I am trying to get together a complete vpn hosting on linux that includes the backend as well as a nice front-end for users (tho the front end can be wordpress/we doesn't really matter that much) The backend is what matters. The vpn will be offered to customers from around the world and as such i want to implement a centralised authentication server (was thinking using LDAP) but the remote points - the ones that clients will connect to could be more than one, ie for better bandwith, speed, etc. I was also thinking on using pptpd and integrate it with pam and ldap. i've used poptop before personally but moving to production is a whole different thing. So far i've managed to find freeswan strongswan and openvpn (though i may not know something about it or it's not really free). I am aiming for a free and open source linux solution as much as possible. And if there's another suite that takes care of managing vpn, providing web gui for client and management, monitor etc i would love to test it out. |
Did you hear about canadavpn?
