Question What is view in DNS in Linux

Dear All

I am to ask a simple question in about DNS in linux. What is the definition of VIEW INTERNAL and VIEW EXTERNAL.

5 seconds on google gives plenty of hits for "dns internal view". were none of them sufficient?

With views you can for example give another IP address for the same dns name depending on the client location
