Webmin hangs/freezes after config change...
 

Recently, I've changed the login configuration of Webmin in a way that it will block hosts for 1200 seconds after 8 failed login attempts and since then I can't login to Webmin anymore. I've tried stopping and starting Webmin via SSH, waiting a few hours before trying again, flushing the iptables configuration but all with no luck.

Can anyone help me with this, please? I hope I don't have to do a reset...

I had a similar problem with webmin some time back. I believe I restarted the system 'shutdown -r +0' to get it to work. I hope that helps.

That could've been a solution yes but I'd rather not wanted to have to reboot my server.

I solved it be using another port.
