Hello and welcome to LQ !

The details are out there but three main points are:

1. Fedora Core 8 is kind of old (maybe consider something newer?)
2. Using yum
3. Google "fedora install apache" for the webserver part
4. Google "fedora install squid" for the squid part
5. http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/caching.html for the cache part
6. http://catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html

Hope this helps

Cheers
