web hosting on virtual server

how do i host a website on a vps...i already have the website but then what do i do next? with gofaddy any links to a tutorial/howto would be helpful...i used to have a dedicated server w/godaddy with was already setup 4 me since the begging by a friend of website is mine until next year...i canceled my dedicated server and i purchased a vps w/godaddy wit out any panel ..i have fedora 7 or 8

ok... most rent able servers have some sort of management interface, (something like webmin)? if they don't i would recommend using centOS or Ubnutu NOT FC. you will get hacked if you do. then just yum install Apache or apt-get install apache.
