want to configure sendmail with windows 2003 ads domain
hi ershad here,
running a windows 2003 server as a domain controller for 100 machine with XP as clients . i have 150 users working . have a redhat enterprise linux 5 working as file server ( samba, squid, internet connection sharing). redhat is also a member of the domain and working fine .samba is working with AD domain authentication . i want to implement sendmail as a mail server for my environment which should be working for all domain users (receive and send mails to all other domain users ) . what are the steps and configurations .
In that case, take a look at using postfix for smtp and dovecot for imap & pop3. There are lots of howtos out there and postfix is much simpler to setup than sendmail.
