wanna generate log file of inode creation under a directory

I want to monitor a directory, which file is created or deleted with its name, time and path under that directory... Is there any way to monitor the file creation/deletion action

The facility you want is inotify. It works on directories, but not recursively so far as I recall. There's an inotify-tools package that includes an inotifywait demonstrator that can be fairly useful in shell scripts.
