user authentication in proxy server

hi friends,

i have a system with REDHAT centos installed on it.i set up a proxy server(squid-2.5 STABLE)on it.now i want to configure the user authentication for specific sites on it, so that whenever those sites are requested by clients,they should be prompted with username and passwd.

will you please help me to solve this problem?

I recommend having a look through the info at the Squid FAQ, choosing an authentication method and trying to set it up in your environment. That way you can post specific questions here about any problems you have setting it up.
