Update packages when shutdown

Hello, I have created a repository of debian packages with reprepro, where I have a set of software packages for a set of computers.
I would like these computers to automatically update all these packages when shutdown.
What would be the best way to do this?
Thanks in advance.

One way is to write a script to:
1) run updates
2) shutdown

Then, when you want to shutdown your machine, use the script instead of shutdown command.
