Question Ununtu server 9.10 apache2 problems

hi all, whenever i boot my server up, when apache2 is loading it says apache2: Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using 127.0.1.1 for ServerName. and i also have no internet because of that (on my server)

Hi!
try this tutorial, it mentions something about changing the default "127.0.1.1"...
http://www.howtoforge.org/ubuntu_lamp_for_newbies
//////(here, from that article)
Quote:
Step 2 (optional). In order for other computers on your network to view the server you have created, you must first edit the "Bind Address". Begin by opening up Terminal to edit the my.cnf file.

gksudo gedit /etc/mysql/my.cnf

Change the line

bind-address = 127.0.0.1

And change the 127.0.0.1 to your IP address.
Let me know if it works. I didn't change it because I thought it's not an error, it's just a small warning.

PS: other changes should be made in "etc/hosts" or in "httpd.conf" I suppose... There are a lot of configuration files

hmmm, sounds like your hostname is not listed in your /etc/hosts file.
