unable to start SWAT in Firefox in fc7

i have samba-swat-3.0.25-2.fc7.i386 installed on my fc7 box.

everything is installed properly. all the necessary files are in
the proper place.

in spite of all this swat does not run in web browser. i am using
Moxilla Firefox browser.

i tried all the possible things but in vain.

pl. help me as soon as possible.

Hey callistussj,

I know the following guide is for FC8, but you could try to run things through and check if you forgot to configure some things like your firewall, Xinetd etc.

i have tried all the possible settings including firewall which is disabled, /etc/Xinetd.conf, /etc/services and so on,
but web browser just doesnot start swat. i cann't understand what is the problem....
is there any file that block port address or something like that...

pl. help.
