Is this problem with ubuntu servers?
I tried same thing with 3 different machines at different locations & one of the machine was freshly installed.

It seems like there is a problem with the Indian Ubuntu servers. You could try other servers near you and see if that resolves the problem.

i tried another server instead of Indian server, like main server, some server in US/UK etc..

But still some link are not yet resolved..
I replaced sources.list on a freshly installed machine with a old machine, that solved my problem till some extent.

But still i cannot install many packages.

Can someone give me some locations which i can add into sources.list??
