After much searching and poking about to create a simple file and web server for all the connections in my flat, I finally discovered this link https://help.ubuntu.com/community/EasyRouter

This theory works perfectly, except the connection into the server is a shared connection with a neighbour, and therefore the script would have to be modified to connect wirelessly to a protected router, what would I have to do differently to the instructions to connect to the router?

Next, the connection leaving the router would also need to be protected so as only my neighbour and myself can connect to it.

If it makes any difference, the 2 computer's connecting to the server are also running Linux (Ubuntu and Kubuntu to be exact)
