Ubuntu Server

I have Ubuntu Server 10.10 running on a Netbook, and I have both the eth0 and wlan0 interfaces working fine with separate IPs.

What I would like to do is bond the two interfaces so that, if the ethernet interface goes down, to switch to using the wireless interface.

Most of the tutorials I see only talk about bonding two ethernet ports. Anyone know if this is possible?

Maybe I'm being too simplistic, but I don't see why you couldn't treat it the same as if it were two ethernet connections. Have you tried configuring it just as if it were?

What was the result? Specific errors?

I haven't tried it yet, as the machine is currently at home and I need access to it today, so I don't want to mess up its current configuration. I can experiment later but I wanted to make sure it was even possible first.
