Ubuntu Server 7.04 command line boot sequence
 
Currently have Ubuntu Server 7.04 installed , with GNOME GUI interface.

Was just wondering, how do you change the boot sequence ( im guessing in /etc/event.d ) to it boots into Command line at default?

Ubuntu (from 6.10) the boot process has been handled by "upstart" rather than "sysvinit". https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReplacementInit ... for rationale.

Now you have a lot of reading to do.
